FAQ’s

As an employer, you have a legal obligation to provide fire safety training to all employees or volunteers working in your business. This means that everyone on your team should undergo fire safety training and be familiarised with the company's fire safety procedures and evacuation routes during their induction. For larger teams, it is a legal requirement to appoint at least one individual as the fire warden or fire marshal. This person is responsible for fire safety within the team and must undergo additional training to fulfill their duties effectively. Even for smaller teams of 1-3 people, it is recommended to have at least one designated fire warden for maximum safety.
When it comes to fire safety, it is always better to err on the side of caution. Instead of questioning who needs fire safety training, ask yourself why an individual on your team shouldn't be trained. In an emergency, everyone is equal and must know how to protect themselves and others, as well as how to prevent fires. Don't take any chances with fire safety – make sure everyone on your team is properly trained.

Whether you are self-employed or work independently, fire safety training is just as crucial as it would be for someone in a larger team. In several professions, fire safety training is still a legal obligation, especially if your work involves accessing other companies' premises or buildings such as schools or hospitals.

We place a very high value on the personal interaction and hands-on experience that face-to-face training provides. We believe that online training cannot fully replace the benefits of in-person training, such as the opportunity to share stories and fully engage learners, as well as the opportunity to learn directly from subject matter experts and firefighters. As a result, NR Medical Training only offer face-to-face training courses. However, we can be flexible to suit your business needs. We offer courses during evenings and weekends and we can carry out training on site or at a designated training venue nearby.
