This closed FREC 3 course in South East London runs Monday to Friday and is being delivered exclusively for our client at their site. The programme provides the recognised foundation for those working in pre-hospital care and is ideal for teams involved in event medical cover, close protection, fire service, or security operations.
Delivered by two experienced frontline clinicians, the training focuses on practical, scenario-based learning. Learners will cover trauma care, medical emergencies, airway management, patient assessment, and BLS, with extensive hands-on practice using realistic kit and simulations.
The updated FREC 3 qualification includes one multiple-choice exam and one anatomy and physiology paper, with all other assessments being practical and ongoing. Optional modules—such as supraglottic airways, Entonox, blood glucose monitoring, Penthrox, and naloxone—are available where clinical governance and operational need can be evidenced.
Requalification is required every three years. Where learners can evidence regular BLS updates, a 2-day requal is available; otherwise, the full course duration applies. We will confirm eligibility for the requalification route with the client in advance.
