This three-day FREC 3 Requal is for learners who already hold a valid FREC 3 certificate and need to renew before expiry.
Requalification ensures your skills remain current and aligned with the latest guidance. If your certificate lapses, you will be required to complete the full five-day course again.
At NR Medical Training, the requalification is delivered by two experienced clinicians. The focus is practical reassessment, scenario work, and clinical decision making rather than simply revisiting slides. You’ll be expected to demonstrate competence across the FREC 3 criteria.
Across the three days you will revisit and be assessed on:
Primary survey and structured patient assessment
Vital signs and clinical decision making
Catastrophic bleeding management
Airway management and oxygen therapy
Medical emergencies
AED use and BLS
Communication, documentation and handover
FREC 3 Requal allows you to maintain operational status and continue your progression pathway towards FREC 4 without needing to repeat the full qualification.
