The QA Level 2 Award in Safeguarding and Protecting Children, Young People, and Adults at Risk (RQF) qualification is designed for those who have contact with children, young people, and adults at risk, including those who work in voluntary or unpaid roles.
This qualification is also suitable for those with a specific duty for safeguarding and protecting in places such as the NHS, educational institutions, and social services.
How long is the course?
The course lasts 4 hours. We can deliver the course on site at your workplace or an offsite training venue.

Safeguarding training (also sometimes referred to as child protection training) is a legal requirement for all professionals who come into contact with children and vulnerable adults in their work.

This level of training will equip learners with the skills necessary to participate in a safeguarding inquiry and report and document their concerns to aid such investigations.
Learners will also get a grasp of critical safeguarding legislation and how it has evolved through time. This knowledge will assist them in understanding how the law applies to their role. They will also learn how to effectively communicate with persons at risk and recognise potential abuse.
