2 Day FREC 3 RPL Course | 24th & 25th January 2026

from £250.00

Full Course Description >

This 2-day route is for responders with solid prior training or experience who are ready to formalise it at FREC 3. Typical candidates include CFRs, firefighters, event medics, and those with FPOS, FROS or RTACC. Eligibility is subject to approval by the awarding organisation (we’ll confirm this with you before booking).

You’ll train with two experienced clinicians. The focus is practical: real kit, mock patients, and realistic scenarios that mirror frontline work. We refresh what you know, fill any gaps, and assess to FREC 3 standards so you leave confident and current.

What you’ll cover

  • Primary survey, patient assessment and vital signs

  • Managing trauma and common medical emergencies

  • Airway management and oxygen therapy

  • AED use, basic life support, communication and handover

Progression

Completing this RPL route gives you FREC 3 and a clear pathway to FREC 4, where you’ll build more advanced pre-hospital skills.

Who it suits

  • CFRs, firefighters and event medics with recent experience

  • Learners holding FPOS, FROS or RTACC (or similar)

  • Those aiming for FREC 4 who need FREC 3 in place

Booking

Send us your certificates and a brief summary of your recent practice. We’ll check RPL eligibility with the awarding organisation and then confirm your place.
